While caregiving has many benefits — a unique bond with a loved one, for example — it also can feel exhausting and isolating, with limited opportunities to learn from others in similar situations. That’s where caregiving podcasts can help; accessible with a few taps on a phone, they offer a convenient way to find advice and practical tips from home health experts and fellow caregivers.

If you’re in your caregiving era, check out these five podcasts to keep you connected, motivated, and inspired.

A Time to Care

Hosted by caregiver Isabel Melgarejo, this 30-minute podcast offers practical advice and self-care strategies weekly. Recent episodes cover Medicare, wills and trusts, and recognizing caregiver burnout.

All Home Care Matters

This semiweekly podcast, hosted by Lance A. Slatton, focuses on home care issues and features interviews with experts on caregiving and aging.

The Caregiver Cup

This weekly 30- to 60-minute podcast, hosted by Cathy VandenHeuvel, explores self-care for caregivers. Episodes address micro-moments of joy, boundary-setting, caregiver guilt, and caregiving teams.

Happy Healthy Caregiver Hosted by certified caregiving consultant Elizabeth Miller, this biweekly podcast examines how family caregivers can maintain their health and well-being while caring for loved ones. Episodes address guilt and grief, life transitions, and the use of humor to cope.

In Sickness: Men and the Culture of Caregiving
